Being a mother gives you the experience to shape a life and also gain a better understanding of its beauty. To freely see your children grow into what it is they see for themselves is truly miraculous. Motherhood: the most liberating and daunting job a woman can ever experience.
I've become a better partner to my husband as time has passed. Knowing that friendship and the ability to like your spouse weighs heavier than many of the other tangible and intangible things that are placed on the expectations of marriage. I really like my husband and I am in love with him as well. We feel it is our duty to represent Black Love and all that it encompasses.
My path as a personality has been beautifully crafted for me alone. None of our journeys are the same and I know that mine has been specifically sculpted for me. I have the uncanny ability to make people feel completely comfortable and I don't take that gift lightly. I made a promise to God to treat any platform He placed me on with humility, dignity and immense responsibility. I know I am fulfilling that promise.
